On "Tell Her Heart," the opening finger snaps and acoustic guitar are soon joined by Latin-tinged drums and a delicate piano line that all quietly combine with earnest vocals to charm and disarm the listener by the end of the first chorus. Observant and patient, David knows just how he needs to approach the girl of his dreams. Since she claims that "her heart is the only thing that listens," he knows that her heart is exactly where he needs to make his appeal.
