David Militello: Bio
David Christian Militello, a talented young man, gifted in music with a voice that is smothered with the soul and often sounds like the late Little Michael Jackson, was born on February 4, 1999 in the state of Georgia.
David made his singing debut on the stages of the Sweet Auburn Spring and Heritage festivals in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007 at the age of seven. He has performed at two professional NBA games, for the 2008 Presidential inaugural events, and a host of other community events. His recent singing achievements include performing at the House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard and The Mint in Los Angeles.
His hero is none other than the late Michael Jackson, so getting praises from "The Jackson Family" from Jaafar Jackson's Facebook page is the one event that has had the greatest effect on his life. "It means the world to me," David says.
In December 2010, David was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for outstanding commitment and effort in promoting peace through youth empowerment, family strengthening, and the development of healthy communities from the Global Peace Festival Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia.
David had the honor of joining the cast of Twist: An American Musical, directed and choreographed by Ms. Debbie Allen, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the role Twist's understudy.
He is currently starring as Lil Sonny in For The Love of Angie: The Musical, which is produced and directed by the magnificent Mr. Vincent Kee.
This multi-talented little guy made his television debut on America's Got Talent 2008 (Season 3), when he made it to one of the top 50 contestants. David made his television acting debut on a recent episode of Nickelodeon's new hit television show, "Victorious" in the role of Devon, the school counselor's nephew.
David says his ultimate goal is to sing and dance on Broadway.
